Women’s New Moon Contact Improv Dance at Seascape Beach
About this gatheringDance at the water’s edge through golden hour and sunset, exploring movement, play, connection, and the elements through contact improv.
We’ll explore the elements of earth and sea within our dance as we move with the physics of nature. Together we’ll play with weight, flow, and connection as nature supports our dance.
All levels are welcome, including those new to contact improv. We’ll move from a playful guided warm-up into themed contact improv exploration, followed by an open jam with mostly ambient music through silent dance headphones as the sun dips toward the horizon.
❋ WhenSaturday, November 7, 3:00 to 6:00. Please arrive at Seascape Beach parking by 2:30 pm for the walk to our gathering spot.
❋ WhereSeascape Beach, Aptos. Parking is at the free public trailhead at 1 Seascape Resort Dr, Aptos, CA 95003. We meet at the water’s edge.
❋ Cost$15 when you register by November 1, $20 after, plus Eventbrite fees.
